Career Fair Description

You are invited to the University of Kentucky’s Graduate and Professional School Fair. In hopes of networking and share details about your program, financing and special offers to UK students and alumni. Universities/colleges are welcome to register for multiple programs. Each program will require a separate registration. In previous fairs, the University of Kentucky has over 15 programs that have participated each year. Your registration includes lunch for all recruiters, a 6-foot table and a "thank you" gift.

During the fair, we will host a variety of Wildcat Workshops. These 20-minute workshops will focus on graduation and professional preparation: Topics such as Graduate application process, writing a personal statement, admission interview preparation, and more. Workshops may take any form—presentation, panel, round-table dialogue, or facilitated discussion Provided to support and educate students applying to graduate and professional schools. Opportunities to engage in discussion with students from all colleges on campus For an additional fee, recruiters can present at one of the Wildcat Workshops by completing a graduate and professional school presentation proposal.

The presentation proposal will be emailed after receiving registration payment. All proposals will be pre-screened to maintain integrity of the graduate and professional school fair.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Half-page or full-page advertisements in the Graduate & Professional School fair program guide are available as part of the GOLD, SILVER or BRONZE registration package. Advertisement submissions are due by Wednesday, September 12, 2018. We are not able to process any additional advertisement requests following that date. In addition to the fair, recruiters are invited by the newly launched Lewis Honors College to the Lewis League networking reception on Wednesday, October 24 at 6:00 p.m.(the evening prior to the fair).

The event includes an overview of the new honors curriculum and experience, opportunities to engage in discussion with honors students from all colleges on campus, as well the chance to interact with the Dean and faculty members. There is an additional cost for attending this event, please see “extra items options” within the Graduate & Professional School Fair registration.
