The University of Kentucky Chellgren Center for Undergraduate Excellence honored its newest class of Chellgren Fellows Sunday, Aug. 23. Five Chellgren Endowed Professorships were also announced. 

University of Kentucky Office of Nationally Competitive Awards has announced that six UK students have been named recipients of Fulbright U.S. Student Program scholarships.

The University of Kentucky Gaines Center for the Humanities has chosen 12 outstanding undergraduates as new scholars for the university's Gaines Fellowship Program for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 academic years.

UK sophomore Nicole Schladt and junior Sarah Smith have received two of Kentucky's six English-Speaking Union Scholarships, which they will use to pursue summer studies at University of Oxford and University of Cambridge respectively.
